Packaging Information

All of our orders are made and packaged by our small family business in our Altrincham studio.

Almost all of our packaging is fully recyclable and we're working on the rest. Here is some detail on our packaging at the moment. Check back for updates as we improve and change our offering...

 

CARDBOARD BOXES & ENVELOPES

All of the cardboard we use is FSC certified and can be fully recycled, composted, or re-used. We try to re-use as many boxes as possible, so your order may arrive in a pre-loved box.

 

PACKING PEANUTS

The packing peanuts protecting your order are amazing!

They are made from puffed starch, and can be re-used, composted, or you can completely dissolve them in warm water. This is a super fun science experiment to do with the kids!

 

TAPE

Our tape is made from paper and can be fully recycled with your box.

 

TISSUE PAPER & PAPER WRAP

Most orders come wrapped in tissue paper or protective paper wrap. These are both acid free and fully recyclable.

 

PAPER GOODS

Our thank you cards, stickers, and dispatch notes are all printed on fully recycled paper, which can be recycled again or composted.

 

POSTAL TUBES & PADDED ENVELOPES

We still have a small stock of postal tubes that contain plastic lids and padded envelopes that contain a plastic lining. Once our stock of these run out, we’re switching to paper versions that will be fully recyclable. Yeay!

Until then please re-use them if you can!
