School holidays are here. Yeay!
And so begins the weeks of juggling children, work, and boredom. If your family is anything like mine then you might be trying to spin a dozen plates over the summer. Work, babies, chores, family... whatever your circumstances, there will be plates spinning!
I can't wait to spend more time with the kids, we've got lots of fun things planned, but I'm also quite daunted by the prospect of fitting everything in. I think these two will be learning the art of entertaining themselves a lot!

Work + kids = the need for boredom busting. So here's where my exciting summer project comes in.
Each day in August I'm going to post a boredom busting activity here on the blog and across social media (Instagram & Facebook). There will be all kinds of creative and fun ideas for your kids - mostly simple things that don't need you to buy or prepare anything special. There will be free downloads, projects, recipes, patterns, and general goodness for little ones! Things that they can do themselves or that you can do together. And I'd love you to join in!
We're also going to be running an August competition to win a super Clara & Macy boredom busting kit over on Instagram. If you fancy entering then just post photos of your family joining in with the daily activities using the hashtag #augustboredombusting. More details on that coming soon :)
